The ideal Agent or Distributor matches the majority of the following characteristics:

 

Commitment to the sales of Mag W’s products in the agreed channels Significant knowledge or experience with one or more of the Target Channels Will regularly visit (call on) the target customers, i.e. has already or will setup regular sales activities Financially sound person or company Entrepreneurial and pragmatic style, aggressive sales type We prefer to work with small, aggressive distributors with a small assortment of high-quality products Ability to sell products on quality and technical features rather than on price

 

Examples:

 

A. A small start-up company with few products, about to build up distribution to one of the Target Channels

 

B. A small to medium-sized company with a limited product range, who has already set up distribution to one or more of the Target Channels (i.e. who is already doing sales activities with other products within the channels)

 

C. A large company looking for a new sensational product to boost sales, and who either has or will setup distribution to one or more of the Target Channels.

 

The Agent/Distributor is fully aware of the need for both selling in and selling out. Merchandising, in-store demonstrations and displays are a must. Further, the customers are visited or called on a regular basis (personal visits, sales calls, direct mail, etc.)
